Which connection type should I choose?

Litora offers two tunnel types today, and the choice is about your network, not about taste:

• Standard (WireGuard). The fastest, and the one every app supports. Use it wherever it connects reliably.
• AmneziaWG. The same encryption over a different handshake, for networks the standard one does not suit. Use it when the standard tunnel will not connect or starts failing.

The advice that matters: set up the second one before you need it. The day the standard tunnel stops working is the day you may not be able to reach this site to create a new configuration. Both tunnel types count as one device when they are on the same device you already set up — adding a second type never costs a device slot.

Two more connection types built on TLS and QUIC — VLESS over REALITY and Hysteria2 — exist and are not yet offered; they will appear on the set-up page when they are.
