Which connection type should I choose?

Litora offers two tunnel types today, and the choice is about your network, not about taste:

• Standard (WireGuard). The fastest, and ordinary-looking — until a filter that recognises its handshake blocks it. Use it where nothing blocks you.
• Disguised (AmneziaWG). The same encryption with the handshake reshaped so a filter looking for a VPN does not recognise one. Use it where VPNs are blocked or start failing.

The advice that matters: set up the disguised one before you need it. The day the standard tunnel stops working is the day you may not be able to reach this site to create a new configuration. Both tunnel types count as one device when they are on the same device you already set up — adding a second type never costs a device slot.

Two more connection types that look like ordinary web traffic — VLESS over REALITY and Hysteria2 — are built and are not yet offered; they will appear on the set-up page when they are.
