How device limits work

Every package has two device numbers, and they answer different questions:

• Devices at a time — how many devices can hold live connections at once. Standard allows 2; Max allows 5.
• Devices set up — how many device configurations can exist. Standard allows 5; Max allows 10.

So on Standard you can have five devices configured — phone, laptop, tablet, a spare — and any two of them connected at the same moment.

Two details that work in your favour:

• A device with both tunnel types is one device. Adding a disguised configuration to a phone that already has a standard one never costs a slot — the whole point is to prepare the fallback.
• Revoking frees the slot immediately. Retire an old phone at litoravpn.com/get and the slot is usable again within about a minute.
